Well an average 3 yr old around here has 9 3/4"-10 1/4" beard,and 1"-1 1/8" spurs.

Areal nice bird around here has about 1 1/4" spurs,and a 10"+ beard.

In order for me to convince my wife to let me mount him he'd have to have more than that.Say if I got one that had an 10 3/4"+ beard,and 1 3/8"+ spurs.I'd mount him.Or some 1 1/4" spurs,and multi-bearded.Weight doesn't matter to me.Our birds are light.
