Default QUESTION for you Pennsylvania guys, can I shoot a

coyote with my bow if I don't have a furtaker liscence?

Yesterday, I didn't get off work until 3:00. I would have liked to been in my stand by 2:30, but, I didn't leave my house until 3:25. I got up in my stand and all situated by 3:45. It was perfect, cold and the sun shinning bright. Well, I had a doe with 6 FAWNS come out about 4:30. They came and drank from a pond about 15 yards in front of me. I had one fawn wading all through the pond, while a button buck came and stood at about a yard from my stand. Well, they finally moved off.

Next thing I know, I hear some terribly loud brush crackling. I figured it was a buck making a rub. Nope, it was two silver fox. They came into about 10 yards and were running around for about 10 minutes playing tag. Then, they finally moved into the brush.

Well, I keep watching and I counted 17 deer walk down a trail right inside the woods (in the thick brush). I tried grunting and bleating but they didn't care. This trail that they are on is entirly impossible to get a stand on. The trail is in too thick of brush.

Well, they walked behind me and I thought that I heard one comming out of the brush. I look back, and there is a coyote at 25 yards. He came into 16 yards, then all of a sudden, he darts back into the brush and all heck breaks loose. I hear stuff running and twigs breaking. Next thing I know, I hear a god awful screech. I look back and the coyote is walking through the brush carrying one of the two silver foxes in its mouth. They jumped about 7 more deer out past me. By this time, it was getting pretty dark. These 7 deer ran past me, and they were all doe. They ran up onto a powerline about 80 yards from me and stood there with two other deer (couldn't tell what they where) that were already standing on the powerline.

I waited for along time and finally got down. I just really hope that this coyote didn't mess up that area, but, I am giving that stand a couple days, maybe a week, to rest.

I was just wondering if a coyote comes in close enough, could I shoot it with my bow. The Pennsylvania Hunting and Trapping Regulations book was very confussing. Well, thanks in advance for the responses.
