I USE A CABLE LOCK ON MINE ONCE I HAVE IT UP WHERE I WANT IT .
I JUST WRAP A CABLE ARUOND THE TREE & THREAD THE CABLE THRU THE STAND & CLIMBING STICK & LOCK IT.
