I've used brake cleaner on triggers before and never saw any harm caused by it. I hate to tell you to use brake cleaner because there are so many different kinds out there and no telling how strong some of the stuff is. I used Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber on my White. While I suspect brake cleaner would not cause the trigger any harm, I could not say for certain that this is true. Be your own guide on this one.
