Default RE: Does anyone use decoys during rifle season?

The only decoys I have are Cabela's mallard decoys!

I mainly hunt the WMA's here in Virginia. Man, if you put a deer decoy in a WMA down here, it would get blasted to pieces within 4.7 seconds!!!

I have a very good friend of mine (my old fishing buddy). and I've been trying to coax him back into the woods again. But, he gave up hunting years ago after almost dropping a load in his pants - He was with another friend and they were quietly stalking a deer. They were fine... Blaze orange... The works... Some fool in the woods decided to randomly shoot at noises, and the buddy of mine swears he heard a bullet wizz by him ! That was it. That was the end of it all. My fishing buddy sold all his stuff and never stepped foot in the woods during hunting season again.

To everyone: If you use a deer decoy.... BE CAREFUL!
