Default RE: Does anyone use decoys during rifle season?

skeeter; My property at the rear is a large semi circle (800 yds long)of swamp edge with 50 yds of bush all around the edge. In the middle of the semi circle is a hill of 20-25' made of limestone. The area from the bush to the top of the hill is mixed with pockets of cedar, hardwood and bare rock for the whole 800 yds. It's open field to the back. The main wildlife (bear, deer etc.) trails are between the hill and the bush at the swamp edge. The main wind direction is from the hill over the swamp. The does live in the woods on the hill; the bucks appear to own little pockets in the swamp (6' cattails/maple. The swamp is 1/2 mile wide and runs 10 miles long.

I'm hoping that a doe decoy positioned on the hill with estrus scent wafting over the swamp may draw them out for a look.
