Default RE: Still a 35 yard Turkey Gun

ORIGINAL: Shane in WI

I shoot a Browning BPS 10 gauge. Factory Winchester #5's and my handloads with copper plated #4's & buffer patterned the best. I installed a TruGlo Extended, ported xtra full choke and has a 28" barrel.
I patterned an honest 21 pellets in the head and neck at 50 yards. Most birds that I have shot have been in the 20-30 yard range, but I did hammer one at 4 yards once. Farthest I've ever shot a bird was last week at approx 40 yards. Know one guy who claims to have shot a tom at 100 yards with his 10 gauge, but I can't verify that.
Now thats a turkey setup.
