I hunt and run lease in NE, Ok. around Fort Gibson lake area and rut is just like last year. Hit and miss. Seems deer count for state is down from info from wildlife officials. I have not had banner year for seeing bucks but managed good ten pointer on last day of gun. We are shooting does this weekend with dmap tags and have seen some rutting activity still going on. Last four days of gun season seemed best for me! I managed good eight pointer last Dec on last week of Dec.with bow. Hope that works again this year.
