After getting the rear peep sight, try replacing the red fiber optic front sight with a green one. Most of them are .040". You will need a .040 drill bit to drill out the hole after you break out the red one. Brownell's and Dawson Precision carry the fiber optic rod stock.

Green is better than red in low light, and just as good in bright sunlight.
