If you can afford to get him started right with a bow that fits - that WILL allow growth with some changes - then I'd look at the BowTech Stalker or StalkerLITE.

The stalkerlite can be ordered from 20-60#, and 23-29 inches.

Another good choice - that's more tuned to the short adult - is the BowTech ExtremeSD (SD=short draw). The ESD is 40-70# and 24-29"

The StalkerLITE is a bit cheaper than the ESD but they're both good shooters. I'm 31, but only 5'6" so thre drawlength always become an issue - I have graduated into a Pro-38 and Patriot but the Stalker has been quite popular amongst hunters and the vertically challenged.
