That sounds like a fun day to me!! You're right, it amazing how out of sync you can get from not shooting even in a week or two. That's one of the things I enjoy doing, as well. Go to the shop and just start messing with stuff. Shoot, that's how I learn.

If you're headed to MO, give me a shout. I've got a good hunk of public land that holds lots of does and good bucks. Didn't see but a couple of bucks there last year, but I saw more than 30 doe in the few days I hunted.
