Champlain Islander They are different because of color and shape the greys are greyish and rounded on the top. The blacks are black and the tops are pointed. Hey Titleist great find.
Next question is what type of terrain do they preferr? I have oak, beechand hickory hardwoods, swamp, pine or sprucestands and the soil is mixed between sandy in the pine areas and clay in some others. If I find some and they look like thepictures and the stem and cap are one could I assume they are really the prize I am looking for. I don't know anyone who picks around here. I live in Vermont.
