Default RE: Aiming Point

i aim right below the head...even a tad lower...guess that would be the waddle region.....id never take a body shot with a shotgun....ive found tons of pellets in small game that didnt make it far....they loose the little energy they carry pretty quick.....im not saying that it cant be done.....but why not tear up its brain...vertebrae..spine..arteries...wind pipe ect......everyone judges pellet count by brain and spine only.....thats like a "turkey shoot" seeing hows pellet is closest to the mark.....to me i rather have a nice dense pattern then worry about OMG i only got 4 in the brain and spine.....you got a good dense pattern shooting POA and youll have turkey dinner...that birds going down with a head and neck hit.....and your going to get pellets in the brain and spine...right now i put about 190 pellets on a 10x10 sheet of paper are 30 or 35yds....draw a turkey brain and spine anywhere in there and thats a dead bird......some guys get too obsessed with patterns and counts....but i know my pattern shoots pretty danged centered so i am to have my pattern hit above(head) and below(neck).....if my pattern shot high id aim lower..if it shot low id am higher...
