Rick, I'm not sure if we are going to spread any lime or not. I know we talked about it at one time, but I don't know if it will get done or not. I'll have to ask my Dad when he gets home if he wants to get a load or not. He was thinking of getting a big dump load on our trailor, and then use my grandpa's tractor with the front-lift to scoop it up and pour it in the hopper.

I do know that when we started planting plots at our house we did use lime. If I remember correctly, we got the pelletized version because it flows out of our spreader much better than the powder. We also have a large funnel type spreader that hooks up to the 3-pt hitch and PTO drive. It also has anextra hook on theback of the feeder to attatchour discs behind to toss the soil.Itworks pretty good that way.The powder seemed to stick inside and not give and even of a coat.
