I had that same scope, except mine had the target dot. It worked ok. It was not very clear on the high end of magnification though. But, I didn't expect it to be either. It worked well up to 16X, and held it's zero.

Their are a couple things you can do about your trigger. One involves changing the spring with one from a ball point pen. I didn't like that idea, so I bought the kit from Rifle Basix. Just do a search for them on google. Midway USA has them on sale quite frequently for less then you can buy from the company. It is easy to do yourself, and it is then adjustable from 10-26oz. It is simply an awesome replacement, and well worth the money. Good luck
