well the wind hurt us pretty bad tonight. was calm at sunset but picked up to the point the fan wouldnt hardly push us. water is still pretty murky. unless it clears up a lot it is gona be a tough shoot with a troller. we are only able to shoot fish in less than 8in to be able to see them. I belive the carp spawn is over not very many up and mainly small fish. the gar spawn is awesome right now. lots of big fish up and in groups. we ended up with 226. prob 70% gar. moved 4 times in the truck to stay in holes and out of the wind. got a phone call today they are whackin the heck out of BIG buffs on kentucky. had a 65,67 &68lb taken in 1 night out of the same bay. looks like i am headed south for a day. anybody up for a road trip?
