Default my new bowfishing bow

Check out my new bow. I think it's even weirder looking than my Oneida.

I can't wait tokick itaround the boat and get it covered in carp slime a few times. []

Kidding, kidding... This will be my hunting bow. If I can build up some strength to pull it back.

I used to have my old hunting bow set at ~55lbs. I had it cranked down to 53.5lbs last fall.

This bow is set 53lbs and I can barely pull it back. (a lot of times, I can't) [] Both bows are 65% let-off, but the powercurve (or whatever you call it) is so different on this bow that I feel like i'm trying to pull 70lbs. Trying to get the hang of the release is fun too. It feels like it's going to come off my hand.

Kendall saidI had to include all three of these photos.[:-] So while this has nothing to do with bowfishing, it is pretty funny.

First, I must psych myself up and take deep breaths.. (I think I can.. I think I can...)

Then I pull for all I'm worth. Form be damned.. This is a such a great 'bad' picture.

Hey no problem at all... (ha!)

I'll have it cranked lower the next time I'm at the pro shop, in the meantime,I'm hoping I'llgrow an extra couple of muscle cells.
