if you dont tow a lot, i would really recommend getting a ranger. i have a 96 STX 4x4 that does everything i ask of it, has limited slip rear, has a useable sized bed, and gets 18-19 mpg in mixed city/hwy driving. throw some MT tires on it, and you should be able to go most anywhere you need, with the exception of some harder, more technical trails. also, the ranger is much easier to maneuver in tight spots, whether it be a parking lot or the woods
