Just out of curiosity,Whats the big difference in 338-06 and 338-08(federal) in terms of velocity and energy.
I do understand the 338-06 is more of a custom gun and made for reloading but I guess in general my all important question would be---Why hasn't any of the big gun companies picked up the 338-06 in favor of the 338-08 if we are talking more case capacity.?
A-square is making the 338-06 production rifle I am sure but not sure about anyone else.
