Problem is they feel ok both ways depending on my moodbut both have thier disadvantages I am finding out.
Bigcountry, I don't believe you will be able to switch the style on the same bow very much (unless as you said you change from split to threee under, or change the nocking point drastically). You will have to use the style the bow and grip were made to shoot. If you try to use a high grip on a bow that was made for a low grip, I don't believe it will work. Maybe call Martin and see what type of grip was put on the bow.
