RE: patterned my 835
Pace off 40 yards...we used a rangefinder when we set up our shooting range..thanks. as to hhow many pellets do I feel comfortable shooting in thekill zone to be deadly? I don't know I took two shots last year one in the spring that was 52 and one in the fall that was maybe 49 -50 yards and the birds dropped dead. I don't think I would shoot over 55, to be safe. If you go to the NWTF board there is a thread with the tips on how to polish your barrell this iswhat I did and took it one step further and used finer material. The comment on how my pellets fly was to configure how you and your formula were calculated. The fly straight and true and smack the target everytime. It is so hard for some of you to imagine that someone can acheive what I have done(pictures will be posted soon) as to being a liar..... I am far from that, I am not some kid on here boasting about inaptainable results.Things you must consider; temperature, humidity, wind etc. I spent half a day shooting and I am still am not done tuning my gun yet. I will shoot tomorrow. For not answering your question, I don't feel like I need to answer your ridicule and concerns, and I work on the weekends so I can't sit on the computer all day either. My results are probabley not much different than yours at 40 yards, yes at 25-30 yards there was a huge hole blown through the target and the plywood. I am taking this into consideration as to a close range shot. Thanks again. happy shooting
