Took my son Brandon out this morning for the Mo. Youth season opener. We had 3 gobblers in the next draw over from our food plot just a gobblin. Had them working our way, when three hens came into our decoys, one had a beard and Brandon wanted to shoot, so I gave him the go ahead. He put her down with one shot at 20 yards at just before 7am. She ended up to be 11lbs, with just over an 8 inch beard! Got pics, but will have to get them developed and post here later. This will be his 2nd turkey. Scott.
