Default RE: Wildlife Research Scents

Hey Guys, update. Finally I found a scent company and instruction who think like me. James Valley Scents, BigJon sent me a tester of his "Leathal Weapon" this week. I just read his instruction sheet and right their it states, never scent or set up scents in the downwind fashion. He states that the scent should be placed upwind of your location in shooting lanes in V pattern. If drag rag, don't allow the deer to run downwind of your stand placement. This is the first how to on scent I have read that thinks like me, maybe this is part in parcel why I haven't liked scents...b/c they all say the opposite. I just couldn't get me tiny weeny peanut around that theory. Man i am tickled pink now, still confused but at least someone out their thinks "hey wind in the nose is a big deal, even with scents" THanks BIGJON...I needed that.

So now I have some back up...woooooo. Scent users, what do you do with your scents cannisters, wicks...what ever? I would like to start a mini poll on this using my orginal post, so let's here it!

Anybody ever used Scent Sheilds "Still Steamin"? I heard a couple of guys at the gunshop tonight singing it's praise. I saw the girl ring it in and it was like double that in price of any of the other scents.

Thanks all, I appreciate it!!!!!
