Default RE: Wildlife Research Scents

Skeeter let me clarify my statement. I use the tinks69 around my stand 360 degrees only during the peak of the rut in which is around the full moon in Nov.(NW Montana). The reason for this is because wind direction constantly changes thoughout the hunt. When I bow hunt in Sept/Oct., I may put a 35mm canister of fox urine in a couple places around my stand but I don't get carried away with it. I am not sure if this mask my scent or maybe give the deer a more relaxed approach. I know that it doesn't spook them. I do not use the tinks 69 to mask my scent but as an attractant for a nice Boone and Crockett. I use 6 35mm canisters with cotton balls dowsed in tinks 69. That big buck will come out of the thickets in search of a hot doe during the rut. I am one of those ole tymers and stick with what I know works cause I have seen the results. I am sure that those other companies scents may be just as good, but I am not in the position to experment. I am not sure if this is per manufactures direction, but is is what I use.
