Default RE: Wildlife Research Scents

I think if i was going to use scents i would find the best synthetic on the market. that old guy on a way hunting ,fred addas , i for some reason like him. pushes a synthetic .
i would use a dripper several days prior to hunting . they don't know its a dripper. this would give time for bucks to start responding and checking the area looking for that hot momma.
I might try the heating method you know scents on top of a low burner. just enough to cause evaporation. deer can pick up small particles of scent and i think this would put a lot of particles in the air.
I don't know just ideas. the story is true. i have a picture of both eight points togather. the first one was still in the cooler when i killed the second. my season for bucks was over in three days.
and they were VERY good bucks for south arkansas. all symetry(sp?) and good tine length. not some shabby little buck fever i got to shoot a raggedy buck buck! good bucks!!! see some people say i killed a 10 point ! yeah a 8" inside spread ,3" g2 2 year old buck! in south arkansas if he is 16" w/6 to 8" g2's he's good . one had 17 ,7" g2's. anyway i can't tell you canooks about big deer in the land of milo hanson!
