RE: Wildlife Research Scents
WOW!!! I think its very intresting that it appears most here don't or are skeptical about the use of scents. If you don't know how to use them... then don't. What I am trying to do when I use scents is ( I am talking about doe estrus dureing the rut) to get that buck to believe that their is a hot doe around. If you know when the rut is take some tinks 69 out in some 35mm canisters and use latex gloves when setting the canisters out. Wind direction always changes so put canisters 360 degres around you, and not near you. The only scent I may use prior to the rut is a drop or two of fox urine to confuse my scent, and maybe buy an extra second or two in order to get a shot off. Find out when the rut is and then hunt it hard and long and then start useing the doe in estrus, I have had great luck in doing this and have shot two bucks comeing into my canisters, and missed an oppurtunity when one was 3yrds from me. Do I believe in em... Yepper, but I am not familiar with the brand name mentioned. Good luck and gettem, Bobby
