Red dots are loads of fun, especially on a handgun, semi-auto 22, or a turkey gun.

I'd save the laser for a defensive handgun if I was going to get one.
Don't use them for hunting, even if they are allowed, since the laser is very visible from the game animal's viewpoint.

Now if you can get ahold of an IR laser (Infrared, and not visible without night vision gear), and find a place where it's legal tohunt withit, have a blast, and then invite me over to help you break it in properly.
