i shoot & r/l the Marlin in .45-70. Is there any difference-besides chambering-between the 450 & 45-70? Like, does the 450 have any forged (stronger)parts that the 45-70 doesn't? Anyone know?
There are no structural differences between the guns-the .45/70 version will handle the same pressure levels as the .450 version. BUT, there is a difference in the case capacities of the two different rounds, thus the reloading data is a little different too......
