RE: Help!! Want to buy a bowtech but...
First of all, I'd really like you to either e-mail me or PM me the name of the BowTech dealer who discouraged you from purchasing one.
There is ABSOLUTELY no veracity to any claims that BowTech's bows are dangerous in ANY manner. I've got hundreds and hundreds of shots through my Allegiance, and have pressed it numerous times without the slightest worry. My Tribute performs just as flawlessly.
I know you're fairly new here (at least in post count) but the old-timers around here who know me realize I can afford to shoot any bow I want; we're not exactly hurting for money. I chose to be a part of Team BowTech because I strongly believe in their product. I shot a Mathews for six years before that, and would never bad-mouth their product, either. I just feel thatstrongly about the direction BowTech is going and the strength of their product.
I know there's been a proliferation of alleged BowTech mishaps on another website, butthe few that are legitimate are usuallyfound to come from an incorrect pressing procedure -- and the rest, mostly -- from bogus claims trumped up from bogus usernames.
