Wouldn't that 1940 German Mauser '98 action I have make a real sweet custom rig chambered in the original 8x57JS, with a full-length Mannlicher stock, a 21" barrel and a Leupold Vari-X III 2.5x8 scope on top? That would be the classiest "walking around the woods" deer and elk gun I could ever imagine.
