JH - glad to hear you've got the drop on a longbeard. We'll be sure to get out one day this spring. I'll keep you posted. I was out in Greene County scouting last week. Found a nice shed and saw a couple longbeards. It won't be long, and you'll be after them in WV.
I know and I can't wait. I haven't scouted WV yet but I plan to get out Thursday after class and see if I can get a gobbler or two to light up for me. Gonna scout another place near my home back in PA this weekend, I'm pretty sure there's quite a few birds there. And last but no least, I should get to Greene a few days before the opener. I like to go there Friday night, bust up the flocks just to call them back in quickly first thing Saturday morning. Makes for a quick hunt. I also think we have a really good team here
