Thanks Phil. The simple answer about swabbing - there was none.

That's the beauty of a White rifle. Load and shoot, again and again. My guess regarding the reason for most of the vertical spreadwould still primarily be seating pressure differences - I'll try to do better next time I take the .451 out.
I've got some of Bullshop's 500 and 560 grain .504 conicals to try along with a couple of other bullets my next go around. He also sent a few of his .451 450 grain Whitworth conicals. All of them look like shooters but I aint real crazy about going over the 500 grain mark!
TooTall (posts on a couple of forums I visit) sent me some really nice conicals to try. These were from a new mold he had got in from Mountain Molds. That mold will very likely be heading up north to Bullshop. Posted my first efforts with that conical in Cayugad's "Done it again" thread.
