I just read a post ina Nort American hunting Book about this subject. The wildlife Biolgest Larry, Weismen or what ever his last name is(the guy that hunts with a hand gun) stated if you want to see more bucks on your property , don't shoot them. However, if you want to have bigger & better quility deer.- SHOOT THE SPIKES. he stated theses spikes never really grow bigger than 7 points.
