I recently purchased a Bow Tecxh Tribute. My bow shop recommended a Trap Door. The only problem is the rest is activated by vibration and the new parallel limbs are too smooth to trip it. There is a redesigned version coming out. I'm still waiting, three months now.
Which model do you have? I have the older version and it still works well on my SlayR. It doesn't work off vibration, but inertia. There is a new Mach 4 model, also. Both of these are adjustable for sensitivity, with the Mach 4 being more sensitive. Now for 2006 they have a Newer model called the Freefall.
I think I'm going to end up with a Freefall just to have one. Then I'll already have one for my new bow next year. You know, I just can't get myself to tie a stupid cord to the down cord on a dual cam, shoot thru cable system. I think that dropper rests have done a lot for archery, but nobody is trying to improve on the idea. The old companies and even newer ones just keep stuffing the retail shelves with more of the same old technology. Money is money I guess.
