Actually the units they sell now use a Sony DSC-P41. The I agree with you 2 sec is fine for me also. You said there was a 6.0 megapixel and that was the one I was inquiring about. The Sony S600 is a good 3 to 4 seconds minimum at night with a noisy lens motor. I had hoped they found a better camera. If not the current DSC-P41 is about the best one.
