Buck Magnet--it's usually goodto do a reset function on your Cuddeback every now and then. I've been using mine now for a while and everything seems to be going OK. I've also used a Trail monitor put together by Circuitronique:-
http://www.vigil.qc.ca/this camera has beenworking now for the last three years. I just swap memory sticks, change batteries and leave her alone.I'm also now using a Moultrie GameSpy 200, out of about 150 pictures I'll get about 10-12 bad ones--snowed out or cut in half, some even purplish/black--but I do get quite a few good ones.
The Leaf River DC-2BU also works well for me. I've just ordered a Penn's Woods 2.0 MP fitted with a Minolta (removable camera)--they're now on sale for $299--down from $610. Penn's Woods will also be coming out with a New 6.0 MP in another two months, but, but--you're looking at about $629--quite a bit to leave sitting in the woods unprotected.
