James here is what I am getting at. I mean most of us here has taken an animal or 10 at long range. My terms of long range is 400-600 yards. Now when, neglecting bullet drop, I just don't see that much damage on say moose at 500 yards that I do at 100yards. Sometimes pencils in. But what alot negect to mention is you hare hitting an animal at 600yards with the energy of a rem mag at 400 yards.

Do we need to do that? No. Can it be fun? Sometimes.
