It's possible, but it depends on how exacting you want to aim. If you want to hit what you aim at without some type of hold off, it's not. The arrows arc too much. The people slinging arrows near 300 fps will come as close as you can get. Then you'd want to sight in at something near 25 yards or something. You'd be a little off at the other distances but still be in the kill zone on a deer. At slower speeds you'll have to be more up on distances and use some hold off the further away you get from your sighted in range. You know, aim a little low at 20 a little high beyond 28 etc. With practice you can do it. ME, I like to hit what I aim at and not some spot 2 inches higher or lower. I have 4 pins out to 40 yards.
