Your best bet in that situation is to buy one of those goose decoy chairs. If you cant do that, dig a little pit, enough to conceal yourself, and place decoys all around you. Just stay well concealed. If the hay field has hay bales in it, buy one of those hay bale blinds. I have one of the goose chairs and I have had geese almost land on my feet. It's pretty neat. If you do get a chair, your feet stick out, so cover them with another decoy. Good Luck.
