Default RE: And then Reality Set in

It seems so simple but have such trouble getting my timing right. I know I am too get my hand grib little high, cant my bow about 1:30 position, keep my elbow down not high, relax my thumb and pinky, push my shoulder out, take a 1sec look down the arrow, pull thru as my middle finger hits the corner of my mouth. It seems I forget one or two of these steps.
That is why I believe that practicing form and accuracy can not always be mixed. If you practice form and get the basics down first (without even trying to shoot accurately),it will be infused into your shooting. You will not need to even think about form when you trying to shoot accurately (and you shouldn't, you should be focused on the target). But form must come first. And practiced seperately. When you practice form, don't be afraid to get up close to the target and only practice one aspect at a time.
