I stand up in my stand most of the time. I only sit when my feet get tierd. I do this because I don't like to move when I see a deer. I usually don't get caught on my seat. But it does happen, and in this case I wait until I'm sure its ok and stand. But I practice shooting from a seated position just in case. And if you plan to shoot from a sitting position you had better practice or you will be suprised how far off your shot will be. Mike
