I prefer to shoot sitting. I am a better shot sitting because I have a more solid base. I get a little nervous standing on a small platform 15 feet up in the air.If I'm standing, I need to worry about keeping my balance AND shooting. If I'm sitting, I only need to worry about shooting. That makes me a better shot. I try to set up my stands so that the deer are always to my left. If the deer is on my right I stand slowly and rotate. When I use my tree saddleit isn't an issue for me. I can sit and rotate to shoot in any direction.
