Many of us can't afford 400 and up for a scope.
When i had my gunshop i can't tell you how many times i heard that! BUT, they kept comeing back to buy more guns!!! Geeeeee, the new gun cost the same or MORE than a good scope! DOH!!

That has always puzzled me as well. I would rather have 1/2 as many rifles with superior optics than 2x the rifles without.
