First welcome to the forums! I don't own an Encore. I have a double barrel Pedersoli ML shotgun. I am using one full and one X-full choke. I use 90gr American Pioneer Powder in 2F and 90gr volume #6 shot. My wad column is powder-AA wad-shot-overpowder wad. This gives me pretty good groups at 40yds with the X-full and 30yds with the full. I highly recommend you check out th blackpowder forum. The guys on there really know MLs. They have helped me out a bunch.
