Mobo... you must have done something wrong. Len installed several HUNDRED of these. They had it down to a science so fine they knew with each bow exactly the length to cut the arm etc. NEVER, had one that didn't get out of the way. It should be gone LONG before a fletching gets near it. If there was ever a stickler for free floating flying unobstructed arrow flight it's Len. There just isn't any way you should have contact unless you got something else VERY wrong with your bow or set up. Like I say, I've had mine on for about 5 years. Nothing has come loose, the slide wore out but that's from several zillion arrows going down range. They upgraded the slide since I bought mine. The thing has never failed in a tree with a deer in the sights.
