The MZE effect has three or more adjustment holes,I shoot a short fast Hoyt bow ,and have a long draw and really never had any issues with it dropping out of the way.If that is the case you can call Muzzy and they can talk you through the set up .One that I set up on a buds Matthews FX did have that problem,I then called Muzzy and they told me to use one of thee other adjustment holes then it worked great.It did hit the hand at first then after doing what they suguested it worked flawless.
