There is alot of corn and soybeans here in the bluegrass and that makes for healthy deer herds. As far as average weights I do not know. I have had the fortune of taking 16 deer in the 10 years I have been hunting and none of them under 125lbs (field dressed). I hunt a few counties in KY.(Hardin, Hancock, Clay and Perry)
