RE: Mechanical broadhead Shooters???
I read something very interesting not long ago. It said those who shoot fixed blades and make a bad shot, blame the shot placement. Those who shoot mechanicals and make a bad shot, blame the broadhead.
I swithced to mechanicals this year (100gr rockets) for the simple reason that they shot exactly as my practice tips. When I shot fixed blades, the equasion was 2 lungs = 1 dead deer. This year with the mechanicals I found the math is still the same.
I am not going to say I am loyal to mechanicals, If I can find a fixed blade my bow can shoot the same as my practice tips I may go back. Lets face it its is all in the shot placement. What ever you need to shoot to get that kill zone then shoot it.
