what is the point of the large space above the bulzeye?
If you're meaning the target below, I use the bullseye as my POI when shooting a scope. From that bull I can see what kind of group it hold and how far above my point of aim. For instance, some people sight in 3 inches above bull at 100 yards in the even they need to do extreme long distance shooting.
Using the POI of the bull, scope adjustment would be easy to get, find, and tune your three high high shot.
I also use this target for open sight shooting. If the rifle is suppose to hit 1.5 inch high with open sights at 50 yards, again, this one make it very easy to judge my group and sight pattern.
There are a lot of different targets out there. Some I like some I hate. It's all personal preference I guess.
