What makes the patriot worth $100.00 more than the mitymite? It looks like a different riser and all, but $100.00 more just because it's different? I don't get it.
But then again I am shooting a 1995/6 Mathews z-light!!!

DaveC, The reason being is that the Patriot (and all the other Pro riser bows) is a fully CNC machined riser and it starts out as a 22 or 24 lb T-6 aluminum billet. Even the Rascal is a fully machined riser, that's why it's a little pricey for a kids bow...It's built from the same components as the adult bows...

The Mighty Mite, Tech 29, ESD, Extreme Solo, Stalker/Lite, BlackHawk, TomKat are all extruded/machined T-6 aluminum risers.

The cost of a fully machined riser is quite a bit more to build...Raw materials and machining...
